Currently, our learning opportunities include the following. We are always looking for new ideas for classes or individual learning and welcome input and suggestions.

Beit Midrash Night

Our weekly Beit Midrash night is a fabulous evening, in three parts, with something for everyone.

7:30pm – PIZZA and learning individually or in pairs. Elan Weinstock, our Religious and Education Chair, is available to find you a chevrutah, or learning partner, he can be contacted at ghettoshul@gmail.com, or at his personal e-mail, at elan.weinstock@gmail.com.

9:00pm – Leibish gives a dynamic class in the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. The class is inspiring and always well-attended.

McGill Student Shiur

Each week, a different student prepares a short shiur, or class, on a topic completely of their choice, and teaches the class to the other attendees of the class. The topics taught in the past have ranged far and wide, from deep philosophical ponderings on the weekly Torah portion, to historical perspectives on Tanachic characters. Our goals for the future include offering more learning opportunities throughout the week on a regular basis, and including more musical events (such as jams) in our regular schedule as well.
